Wilson Bulk Transport look forward to a long and prosperous partnership with our clients as we continue to grow. The past 25 years have seen major changes in farming practices in Mid Canterbury and the vision of this Company has always been to move with the times and move forward with expansion of our premises and fleet so we can tailor the needs of our clients.
Our Fertiliser spreading business has gone from one basic lime spreader to four state of the art trucks fitted with computerised spreading equipment and all Spreadmark certified.
Having purchased higher producing trucks that can carry 35 tonnes versus 28 tonne previously used, means greater efficiency in the Bulk Cartage Department and with the introduction of a Blower truck this fleet is now working with maximum efficiency
for our clients.
The Container division has probably seen the largest expansion over the years. Heavier containers have meant greater efficiency for exporters and has led us to looking for lighter trucks in this area. 20ft & 40ft containers are now capable of carrying a Gross Weight of 31 tonne, we have all the equipment to load and unload these containers plus our premises are MPI certified which gives us a greater capacity for dealing with Import/Export Containers with maximum efficiency.
We also specialise in low loader cartage for cars, vehicles and machinery plus we have a purpose built trailer for carting concrete panels. A Class 1 over dimension
pilot is also available.
Our B Train and 46’ Semi Trailers are capable of carting Field Bin Produce, Balage/Silage, Loose Sacks, Palletised Seed, Wool Cartage, Fencing Posts and the list goes on.
